Disappointment

I've failed.

I said I'll wait,
but,
I've failed.

I said I would be better,
but,
I've failed.

I said I would tolerate,
but,
I've failed.

I said I would try to give in,
but,
I've failed.

I said I promised,
but,
I've failed.

In my mind, I always wanted things to turn out right,
but, all I've done is just sinking it even further than it was.

I've failed, terribly.
